Welcome to Tools For the Talented

Tools for the Talented is a nonprofit organization that provides education, resources, and physical tools needed to build within one’s community. We engage with community members in several ways:

1. We host culturally relevant events that raise awareness and foster connections between Black and Brown individuals locally and across the nation.

2. We partner with companies to provide physical tools necessary for building stronger communities and homes.

3. We offer workshops and educational opportunities focused on skill-building.

4. We provide scholarships and awards to individuals making a difference in their communities.

Our Goal

Our Goal

Our goal is to help communities sustain themselves in the areas of agriculture, manufacturing, plumbing, construction, handiwork, and mechanics.

We facilitate tool collection efforts to distribute gently used and new tools to neighborhoods.

We foster a sense of pride and accomplishment in Black neighborhoods.

We increase knowledge of essential skills needed to maintain a home, vehicle, and garden.

We introduce transferable skills for careers in agriculture, manufacturing, engineering, and construction.

We acknowledge and celebrate the work and effort residents contribute to the growth and maintenance of their neighborhoods.
